Cancellation Policy

At Eggvy App, we make it simple and transparent for users to manage or cancel their experience at any time. Since our personal budgeting app is 100% free, there are no charges to cancel your account. However, we still want to ensure you fully understand how to cancel, what happens to your data, and your options regarding connected financial accounts and third-party offers.

1. Canceling Your Eggvy App Account

You may cancel your account at any time by:

• Going to Settings > Account > Delete Account in the App
• Contacting us at [email protected] with your request

Once canceled:

• Your access to the App and all features will be terminated
• Your linked financial accounts will be disconnected
• Your personal data will be scheduled for deletion (see Section 3 below)

2. Disconnecting Bank & Financial Accounts

You can disconnect your financial accounts (linked via service like Chirp Digital) at any time without deleting your account. To do so:

• Go to Settings > Linked Accounts
• Select the institution you want to remove
• Tap "Disconnect"

This revokes our ability to access or update your financial data.

3. Data Retention & Deletion

After account cancellation, we will:

• Retain essential user data for up to 30 days to allow reactivation (unless you request immediate deletion)
• Automatically delete all financial transaction data
• Retain minimal information as required by law (e.g., application history if you applied for a financial product)

4. Canceling Communications & Notifications

You may unsubscribe from emails, alerts, or marketing offers by:

• Using the "Unsubscribe" link in emails
• Adjusting notification settings within the App

5. Financial Product Applications

If you have started or completed an application for a loan or other financial product through the App:

• That process is handled by the respective lender or financial partner
• Canceling your Eggvy App account does not cancel or revoke the product application
• Please contact the provider directly to manage, cancel, or withdraw your application

6. Reactivation

If you change your mind, you may create a new account anytime. If you canceled within the last 30 days and contact support, we may be able to recover your previous settings — unless you requested full deletion.
